Celebrate Galentine’s Day in Mississippi County

Forget the romance – February 13th is all about celebrating your amazing gal pals! And this year, ditch the crowded restaurants and movie nights for a unique Galentine's Day adventure in Mississippi County. We're talking charming Main Street strolls, wine tastings, shopping, free photos and so much more! Here’s a quick roundup of a few of our favorite don’t-miss Galentine’s Day events:

Start your day with a shopping spree on Main Street in downtown Blytheville. On Saturday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the 223 Collective, along with Madison Trimm Photography, Goddess Medspa and Aesthetically Yours, are offering special Galentine’s Day deals and treats, including 20-minute express facials, permanent jewelry, free mini photography sessions, shopping and more. Learn more here!

Also on Feb. 10, from 1-6 p.m., continue the retail fun at a special Sip and Shop at White’s Mercantile in Wilson! They stock the best selection of upscale Southern goods, from beautiful, unique jewelry, to must-have cosmetics, candles and fragrances, to delicious foods, seasonings and sauces. Click here for more details.

On Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 5:15 p.m., join the Blytheville Book Company for a Wine Tasting with Reggie. Sip delicious selections and enjoy a personalized charcuterie plate while hearing insightful book recommendations and engaging in lively discussions with your best girls. The event is $25 per person; purchase tickets here.

Of course, you can always hit up the Staple Bar at The Louis in Wilson. Earlier this year, Arkansas Business called it the best boutique bar in Arkansas, and for good reason. The sophisticated aesthetic and comfortable atmosphere is the perfect place to spend an evening with your best friends. Enjoy delicious wines, top-shelf cocktails and mocktails, and a wide range of delectable hors d’oeuvres.

Whatever you decide to do this Galentine’s Day, have fun, enjoy some laughs and make memories that will last a lifetime!
