Meet the Neighbors: Chastity Beaudette

When Chasitity Beaudette’s company, Envirotech Vehicles, relocated its operations from California to Arkansas, she made a bold move of her own—bringing her entire family along for a new beginning in Mississippi County. Now serving as Director of Finance at Envirotech and co-owner of Copper Gardens in downtown Osceola, Chasitity has found more than just professional success in the Land of Steel—she’s found a deeply rooted sense of home.

Mom to an amazing 14-year-old daughter, Chasitity didn’t make the move alone. Her mother, brother and two sisters also relocated to Arkansas with her. She now shares property in Osceola with her sister Sue, Sue’s husband and their three daughters.

In this Meet the Neighbors spotlight, Chasitity shares how she’s built a life in Mississippi County that blends career, community and connection—and why she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Where are you from?

I’m originally from Southern California.

If you’re not originally from Mississippi County, what brought you here?

The company I work with moved our facility from California to Arkansas.

What do you do for fun in Mississippi County?

We like to spend time outdoors in nature and supporting our children in their extracurricular activities, including cheer, pageants, theater and singing.

Where do you like to eat in Mississippi County?

My favorite places to eat right now are Steel & Grain at the Holiday Inn in Osceola or McAdoo’s in Blytheville. I love the Delta Chicken Platter at Steel & Grain.

What are some of your favorite things about this area?

The people here are amazing. When we first moved in, everyone treated us like they had known us their entire lives. We love the nature that our kids get to experience (and the lack of traffic!).

What does a typical Saturday look like for you?

When I’m not working at Copper Gardens, my Saturdays are usually filled with soccer, basketball, cheer, theater, pageants, birthday parties and anything else related to having a 14-year-old and three nieces under 13.

What’s something that might surprise people about Mississippi County?

The reality of true Southern hospitality. You see it in movies and hear about it, but nothing does it justice until you experience it yourself.

Anything else you want people to know about Mississippi County?

It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever lived. I recommend it to everyone I know who wants a slower pace to life. I love how affordable it is to live here and own something real without breaking your back to earn it.
